Gunma Prefecture's first accommodation facility, KAI Kusatsu, will open in spring 2026!
Hoshino Resorts' ryokan brand, Kai, will open in Kusatsu Onsen, which ranks highly in the hot spring popularity rankings every year. Kusatsu Onsen is a historic hot spring that has been visited by many people since ancient times, known for its high temperature and abundant water and as a therapeutic hot spring resort.
Kai Kusatsu will be newly constructed in an area close to Kusatsu Ski Resort and Sainokawara Park, and is scheduled to open in spring 2026.
Because this is a new facility, being involved as a member of the opening team is a great reward as it allows me to think about how to convey the appeal of the area to customers.
