📍 Hoshino Resorts Karuizawa Office
⏱ Approximately 4 hours (in-person) 12:30~16:30
🚃 Transportation costs: Participants are responsible for their own expenses.

Do you have any of these concerns?

  • I have so many things I want to do, I don't know which one I really want to do.
  • Even when asked, "What are your priorities when it comes to job hunting?", I can't articulate them well.
  • I'm participating in an internship, but I still can't figure out what I'm good at.
  • They haven't narrowed down their focus to a specific industry, and the number of information sessions is just increasing without any real plan.

For those of you who are feeling anxious and pressured to find an answer, I'd like to create some time to organize your thoughts together first.

What you can do in this workshop

The goal is not to provide the "answer" to your job search. The goal is to organize my thoughts to the point where I'm "one step away from finding an answer."

Program flow

① Understand the overall picture of job hunting

Job hunting isn't about "competition," but about "matching"—finding the right piece for yourself.

We will help you grasp the overall picture of job hunting and clarify the path you should take. We will help you understand the importance of "self-analysis," which is the starting point for everything, and solidify the foundation of the workshop.

② In-depth analysis of the past and self-analysis

All the data needed to envision the future lies in your "past."

Visualize your life's biorhythms with a "Lifeline Chart." By delving deeper into your emotional fluctuations, you gather crucial information to identify your "Career Anchors" in the next step.

③ Determining and verbalizing the temporary anchor

From eight types, we'll determine the "temporary anchor" that will support you.

From the "eight career anchors," you will determine a "provisional anchor" based on the source of your own emotions. By verbalizing your values, you will establish a strong foundation to support your future choices.

④ Learning from the real experiences of seniors: "Your future career" based on your core values.

We're sharing the career anchors and stories of our senior colleagues. We delve into their real-life experiences of how having a core set of values allowed them to overcome obstacles.

The second half is a "reverse question time" where you use the core values you've discovered as your weapon. Engage in dialogue with your seniors through your own values and gain hints for the future!

⑤ Articulating your career vision

By understanding "where we are now," we can see the future (environment) we should be heading towards.Once you've defined your core values, imagine the near future. "What values will I want to cherish in three years?" "What kind of environment will allow me to realize those values?" Career anchors are not immutable. What's important is,To correctly understand your current position.I will establish unwavering personal standards for my job search.

Why did Hoshino Resorts' HR team create this event?

"We want to create a space for students to conduct self-analysis, rather than a company information session"—that was the starting point for this workshop.

During the summer internship season, many students juggle internships at various companies while searching for their own direction. We want to be a place that can support them throughout that process.

Hoshino Resorts operates in Karuizawa and other locations based on the belief that "we enrich people's lives through travel." Our HR team also constantly thinks about "how to create an organization where people are the main focus." That's why we want to start by creating a space where we can "think about you together."

The culture of Hoshino Resorts

Flat organizational culture

A culture of open exchange of opinions is deeply ingrained within our company, regardless of seniority or position. Even in workshops, we aim to create a space where participants can speak honestly as individuals, rather than simply receiving one-sided explanations.

Informal meeting

At Hoshino Resorts, we value open and frank discussions where everyone can talk until they are satisfied, without any忖度 (忖度 - unspoken considerations or忖度). We welcome your honest opinions on the day of the meeting. Let's thoroughly explore your own core values together.

Autonomous career development

We respect the attitude of forging one's own path and provide opportunities to discover "non-negotiable values" that you may not have even realized you possessed, through open dialogue.

What lies beyond the workshop

Participation in this workshop is not a prerequisite for applying to Hoshino Resorts.

However, for those who become interested in "working at Hoshino Resorts" through the workshop, we can also provide information about the selection process. Of course, you are welcome to participate simply to clarify your own goals.

When you start to get a clearer idea of your direction in life, I would be happy if Hoshino Resorts could be one of the options you consider.
