Why not enjoy playing the piano in a forest open space filled with the refreshing scent of autumn? Hoshino Community Base, which plans events with the theme of "Enriching life in Karuizawa," will hold a program for those who are familiar with the piano on a daily basis and those who want to play for the first time in a while to enjoy together.
Karuizawa Forest Piano has always connected players with listeners, but now we want to connect players with each other. We planned this event in the hope that playing in the scenery that is unique to Karuizawa will lead to new enjoyment and communication at Forest Piano.
A relaxed and fun "Forest Presentation"
The word "recital" might make you nervous, but this is in the forest of Karuizawa. Why not relax and enjoy playing music freely, from children to adults? It's okay to make mistakes or stop, whether it's your usual practice piece or your favorite melody. The various sounds echoing through the forest will make for a wonderful recital for everyone.

"Nice to meet you duet" is fun if you can play a little
In our fun-first-time piano duet session, beginners and those who haven't played in a while are all welcome. We'll choose a song to play together and practice, so feel free to join us even if you're alone. We'll showcase the results of our practice in a mini-concert. We hope the harmonies we create in the forest will be an unforgettable experience.

Let's all play together in "Forest Sound Matching"
This project was born from the desire to create a musical experience that can be enjoyed by three generations, from children to adults. Children will play handbells and percussion instruments, which are easy to handle, along with the piano. We've made arrangements so that even those who can't read sheet music can participate with confidence.
