Karuizawa Hoshino area is a place where rich nature and people coexist.
Please respect the people, animals and plants that live here, and help us make sure everyone has a comfortable stay.

Request from Karuizawa Hoshino area

  • Please help us by taking our trash home with us.
  • Smoking is prohibited within the area. If you wish to smoke, please use the smoking area.
  • There is no luggage storage service. Please use the coin lockers at the nearest station.
  • Please refrain from feeding wildlife.
  • Please refrain from bringing in food from outside the area.
  • Please refrain from any behavior that may cause a nuisance to other customers.

Barrier-free Information

  • There are parking spaces for people with disabilities in P1 to P3 of the Hoshino area parking lot. There is a slope from the parking lot to the facility, allowing wheelchair access. Please note that wheelchairs are not available for rental.
  • There are wheelchair-accessible toilets at Harunire Terrace, Village Diner, and Tombo-no-Yu. A baby bed (diaper changing table) is also available. We do not have an ostomate.

For customers with pets

  • Please do not leave your pet unattended while in the facility, and be careful not to cause any inconvenience or danger to other guests.
  • Please be sure to keep your pet on a leash or use a carrier bag or pet cart.
  • Owners are responsible for disposing of excrement, damage to fittings, injuries, etc.
  • This facility is not responsible for any troubles between guests regarding pets.

To customers taking photos/videos

  • Please refrain from any behavior that may cause a nuisance to other customers, such as occupying the same area for a long period of time, blocking the path, or leaving equipment unattended.
  • Location photography, photographs, videos, videos, etc. for the purpose of sales or commercial use are not permitted.
  • Please refrain from flying small unmanned aircraft such as drones.
