This summer, you can experience a "foot bath" on the larch hill next to Tombo no Yu, where you can enjoy the coolness that is unique to Karuizawa. The Hoshino area is surrounded by forest and has abundant spring water, making it a place where you can feel cool even in summer. Why not cool off with a "foot bath" after a walk in the area or after a bath at Tombo no Yu?

The footbath used for the Dragonfly Footbath is approximately 6 meters long and can accommodate up to 12 people at once. Taking advantage of the gentle slope of the larch hill, spring water from the Wild Bird Forest flows through the bath.

A time-limited "foot water ice bath" that will thoroughly cool you down

Ice is added to the upstream footbath every day at 13pm, turning it into the "Tonbo Footbath Ice Bath." Soaking your feet in iced water can help prevent heatstroke, cool down after exercise, and relieve everyday stress, helping to refresh your body and mind.

New release of "Forest Soda" to give you a taste of the forest

Cafe Hungry Spot will be selling a non-alcoholic cocktail called "Forest Soda," which will let you feel and taste the forests of Karuizawa. It is made by distilling the fragrances of five types of trees (larch, red pine, fir, Japanese laurel, red pine, and cypress) to condense the blessings of nature. After cooling off in the footbath, you can enjoy a moment enveloped in the scent of the forest.
