Children embark on a grand adventure in the forest. Adults enjoy a free and relaxing time in Karuizawa: "Picchio Children's Adventure Club Summer"Ongoing until August 31st

"Picchio Kids Adventure Club Summer" is an adventure where children embark on adventures amidst the natural beauty of Karuizawa.

This is a day-trip summer camp program where we look after elementary school children for one day. By working together with friends and taking on challenges in the forest, children can experience the joy of playing in nature and the fun of thinking and acting for themselves.

While your children are having fun in the forest, Mom and Dad can enjoy some relaxing free time in the Karuizawa Hoshino area.
Adults can also enjoy a truly Karuizawa-esque experience, whether it's shopping and dining at Harunire Terrace or relaxing at Hoshino Onsen Tombo-no-Yu.

We offer two different programs each day. In "Adventure in the Forest! Explore the Summer Trails," children will explore the forest using maps and compasses. In "A Secret Base Just for Kids! Forest Day Camp," children will try their hand at forest survival skills such as building shelters and starting fires.

At the end of the day, you'll witness your child's growth through their challenges in the forest—a truly special summer experience.
