Karuizawa Kogen Church, a historic church that has been in operation since the Taisho era, will be holding the "Karuizawa Kogen Church Summer Candlelight Night" again this year.

This event continues the tradition of the missionaries who first developed Karuizawa, lighting up the town with lanterns. The church forest is enveloped in the gentle light of lantern candles, warmly welcoming all visitors.
