"Forest Recital" and "Nice to meet you duet" at Karuizawa Forest Piano2025/9/6, 9/27

Why not enjoy playing the piano in a forest open space filled with the refreshing scent of autumn? Hoshino Community Base, which plans events with the theme of "Enriching life in Karuizawa," will hold a program for those who are familiar with the piano on a daily basis and those who want to play for the first time in a while to enjoy together.

Karuizawa Forest Piano has always connected players with listeners, but now we want to connect players with each other. We planned this event in the hope that playing in the scenery that is unique to Karuizawa will lead to new enjoyment and communication at Forest Piano.

A relaxed and fun "Forest Presentation"

You may feel nervous when you hear the word "recital," but this is in the forest of Karuizawa. From children to adults, why not relax and enjoy playing freely? Whether it's a regular practice song or your favorite melody, it's okay if you make mistakes or stop. Feel free to play freely. Even if you are learning different songs and with different teachers, the various sounds echoing through the forest will make for a wonderful recital for everyone.

Karuizawa Forest Piano's "Nice to Meet You Duet" prioritizes fun over skillful performance. Making a few mistakes is supposed to be fun, so those new to duets and those who haven't played the piano in a while are welcome. We've selected 13 easy-to-follow sheet music that's as reasonable as possible. Everyone who gathers will choose the song they want to play and a playing partner to practice, so even those who join alone can feel free to participate. The results of everyone's practice will be showcased in a mini concert. We hope the harmony you create in the forest will be an unforgettable experience.
