Bamboo shoot and yuba (tofu skin) spring set meal: 3,800 yen
The villagers' diner's signature dish, the "Shinshu Colorful Gozen," has arrived in a spring-themed form. It features tempura of butterbur sprouts and bamboo shoots, and a small hot pot of bamboo shoots and broth overflowing with wild mountain vegetables, allowing you to fully enjoy the flavors of the season. The hot pot is a luxurious combination of bamboo shoots, rolled yuba (tofu skin), wild mountain vegetables, and flavorful chicken neck meat. Please enjoy the rich flavors created by these seasonal ingredients to your heart's content.

Shrimp and wild vegetable tempura 2,400 yen
This tempura, featuring a generous assortment of seasonal wild vegetables such as butterbur sprouts, bamboo shoots, and snap peas, pairs perfectly with fragrant soba noodles. Enjoy the freshly fried wild vegetables and the smooth texture of the soba while taking in the scenery of Karuizawa as the leaves begin to sprout.

Wagyu beef hitsumabushi 3,900 yen
This dish offers a luxurious way to enjoy Wagyu beef. Enjoy Wagyu beef simmered to a refined taste, beef tataki marinated in garlic soy sauce and cooked at a low temperature, and finally, beef shabu-shabu tossed in a special sesame sauce, served as ochazuke (rice in broth) with three kinds of condiments and bonito stock. Savor the changing flavors enhanced by the fragrant condiments.

A variety of wild vegetables are piled on top of the soba noodles. The broth is light and refreshing, with a hint of bonito stock. A rich, special sauce hidden at the bottom of the bowl ensures that you won't get tired of the taste until the very last bite.
Wagyu beef and mountain vegetable broth soba noodles 2,050 yen
Our dipping sauce, packed with concentrated umami, is enhanced with wild vegetables that bring out the natural flavors of the ingredients. Enjoy the seasonal taste by dipping the firm soba noodles in the sauce.
