[Event Report] Workshop on growing kitchen herbs in apple soil

This is a workshop where you can learn the joy of growing kitchen herbs that can be used in cooking, using apple soil cultivated by the staff of Tonbo no Yu. The instructor isMORIASOBIThis is Ms. Ino, a staff member. You can choose three of your favorite herbs from more than 10 kinds of freshly picked herbs and plant them together.

The pots used are designed to be planted directly in the garden. Some herbs can be planted directly in the pot while still in their seedling pots, while others require removing leaves and loosening the soil to improve air circulation before planting. Mori Asobi staff will teach you various cultivation methods.

Once the planting is complete, the three herbs are arranged in a beautiful balance, enveloping you in a refreshing fragrance carried on the breeze. From the crisp scents of mint and basil to the floral aromas of lavender varieties like Blue Scent Early, the unique fragrances of each herb create a truly soothing space.

After the workshop, participants enjoyed a herbal tea made with mint picked on the spot and blended with mallow and other herbs, appreciating the changes in color and aroma as they drank.

It was a time to enjoy the rich natural surroundings while having conversations with other guests and with staff.
