At the Village Diner, we are looking forward to your visit, serving seasonal wild vegetables and wagyu beef dishes that will give you a spring feel. Enjoy spring in Karuizawa with the bright sunshine and chirping birds.

Spring Shinshu Colorful Gozen 3,600 yen
Colorful set meal with plenty of Japanese beef 5,900 yen

Villager Shokudo's signature menu, ``Shinshu Colorful Gozen,'' has been adapted for spring. This is a set meal where you can enjoy the unique flavors of Shinshu, such as wild vegetables, seasonal vegetable tempura, and Shinshu salmon.
This time, we have prepared two types so that you can choose the amount of Wagyu beef.

Japanese beef and watercress hotpot with Japanese pepper (with soba) 3,600 yen

How about a pot for one person during the cold season? Wagyu beef and watercress, which has a refreshing spiciness, are made into Shinshu's local dish ``Tage Soba.'' Accented with tangy Japanese pepper. Please "throw" the soba noodles in a small basket into the pot and enjoy.

Wild vegetables and shrimp tempura 1,950 yen
A tempura dish that allows you to enjoy the changing seasons, from early spring to the season of fresh green leaves. We have prepared wild vegetables that are only available at that time, such as cod buds, butterbur sprouts, plum blossoms, and rape blossoms.
*The wild vegetables offered may change depending on purchasing status.

Spring bukkake soba 1,680 yen
On top of the soba noodles, wild vegetables such as rape blossoms, urui, and bamboo shoots, as well as tempura of fukinoto and udon were arranged. Sprinkle with bonito soup for a refreshing taste. Enjoy the change in taste with the rich special sauce hidden at the bottom of the bowl.

Soba noodles with wild vegetables 1,850 yen
Village Restaurant's famous hot pot that can be enjoyed in Shinshu's local cuisine, ``Tage Soba.'' The soup stock of bonito and kelp is combined with wild vegetables such as zenmai, bracken, udon and urui, and pork belly to add a deep flavor reminiscent of a combination stock. Place the soba noodles in a basket, "throw" them into the pot, warm them up, and enjoy.
