The charm of Kera Pond Skating Rink
■ "First ski of the season" amidst the peak autumn foliage
When the skating rink opens at the end of October, the surrounding trees will be enveloped in vibrant autumn foliage. You can enjoy an early taste of skating in the autumn forest while admiring the colorful leaves.
■ Warm drinks to enjoy rinkside
Our adjoining cafe offers lattes and other hot drinks featuring illustrations of forest animals. You can enjoy them rinkside while still wearing your skates.
■The changing seasons felt on the ice
In the fall, cooling equipment is used to freeze about one-third of the pond. As winter deepens, the area where you can ski expands, and you'll be able to ski on natural ice.
*Requests and precautions for use*
• Please wear gloves: For safety reasons, wearing gloves is mandatory while skiing (gloves are available for purchase on-site: 400 yen).
Regarding business operations: Business hours and periods may change, or temporary closures may occur, depending on weather and ice conditions. Please check this website for the latest operating status.
