Marbled pine (Shimofuri pine) is said to be cultivated in the harsh environment of high altitudes and has a relaxing effect, lowering heart rate and improving the quality of sleep. Also known as the "Queen of the Alps," this tree grows in highlands such as the Alps and the Carpathian Mountains (straddling Central and Eastern Europe).
The ingredients contained in marbled pine essential oil have excellent antibacterial and deodorizing properties, and are often used in bedrooms in Europe for their calming scent.
