[Event Report] Winter Night Coffee Workshop

" " holds lectures and workshops under the theme of "enriching life in Karuizawa."Hoshino Community Base" We will report on the "Winter Night Coffee Class."

Warm lights spill out from Maruyama Coffee onto the quiet Harunire Terrace at night. Hoping to allow people to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee at the end of the day without worrying about caffeine, we held a "Winter Night Coffee Workshop." The instructor was Mr. Naito, manager of Maruyama Coffee's Harunire Terrace branch.

First, they learned about Maruyama Coffee's decaffeinated coffee production method, then tasted and compared the differences in taste depending on the brewing method, such as coffee bag, drip, and French press. They tried the standard blend, decaffeinated, and the rare coffee variety "Geisha," and enjoyed the changes in flavor that result from the brewing method and brewing equipment.

In the second half of the session, participants were given a lecture on "tips for brewing delicious coffee at home." They also shared their concerns about coffee and were surprised at the price of the staff's personal coffee grinder.

Customers were chatting with each other, and the entire venue was filled with the aroma of coffee and gentle smiles.
