Today, September 9th, the "hiyaoroshi" sake, which is perfect to enjoy with autumn delicacies, has been released for sale.

Hiyaoroshi is sake brewed from winter to spring and then aged throughout the summer. This aging process mellows the flavor, allowing you to enjoy a refined taste unique to autumn.

The reason September 9th was chosen as the release date is so that people can enjoy hiyaoroshi, a traditional autumn drink, along with the changing seasons.
Nagano Prefecture has been the first in the country to establish an opening date for the fishing season.

"Karuizawa Sake Terrace" is an event where you can enjoy seasonal Japanese sake in Karuizawa.
On September 18th (Friday) and 19th (Saturday), sake from 13 breweries in the Shinshu-Saku region will be gathered at the venue.

Autumn-exclusive sakes are now available, including the newly released "hiyaoroshi," "akiagari" which has developed a richer flavor after aging through the summer, and brands inspired by the moon-viewing season.

Furthermore, the brewers themselves will be visiting the venue each day. By comparing different sakes while directly asking the brewers about their characteristics and dedication, you might find your usual drink tastes a little different.
