"Silent Forest Walk" is now being held to sharpen your senses in the rainy season in Karuizawa

2025/06/06

In the Karuizawa Hoshino area, the "A stroll through the tranquil rainy season forest with a nature guide" is being held exclusively in June 2025. This tour, accompanied by nature guide Picchio, involves a leisurely stroll along the riverside promenade for about 6m from Harunire Terrace to Ikaru Cafe at the entrance to the Wild Bird Forest.

You can experience nature using all five senses, observing the moss and flowers with a magnifying glass and enjoying the scent of plants such as the Japanese laurel, Japanese kokusagi, and Japanese laurel. At the end of your walk, you will be served a "forest herbal tea" made from a blend of Japanese wild plants such as Japanese laurel, mulberry, pine, and elm, allowing you to spend a refreshing moment in both body and mind.

This tour can be enjoyed even on rainy days, so why not experience the natural beauty that is unique to Karuizawa during the rainy season? For more details, please see below.
