Problems and difficulties encountered during job hunting

Tsumura: I think the job hunting season begins on March 3st, but there are many companies that accept students and finish accepting them earlier than that, so I think that the trend of getting ready as early as possible has become more and more noticeable in recent years. If companies could just band together and uniformly say things like, "We'll accept job offers from here," it would be a little more appreciated by those looking for jobs. There are some large companies that say they'll finish accepting students in the summer of their third year of university, so I wonder how that's going to affect job hunting, and why there are differences between companies. It's something I don't really understand.

Sato-san: When the job hunting period became short, it was really hard to analyze myself efficiently, narrow down the content of the interview, and focus on that. I went to the job hunting support center almost every day, and I had to summarize my reasons for applying and what I had worked hard on in such a short time, so I had to write "Wow" in Word, and I also had to improve my writing skills to decide what to cut out in such a short time. Anyway, I think it was really hard to do it efficiently.

Mori-san: There were people around me who had already received job offers since the summer of my third year of university, so I was always feeling anxious. I also went to a support center at first, but they specialized in local companies, so I wasn't familiar with the bridal industry, so I felt like I was fighting my job hunt on my own. I didn't have any seniors that I was particularly close to, and I didn't have any friends that I could fight with, so I was always wondering if I was doing the right job hunt. But I was always worried and anxious about who I should ask for the right answer, so I was fighting on my own. So I was quite anxious and anxious. I was a little worried that this was the wrong thing to do and if I would actually get a job offer in the end.

What was the final deciding factor in choosing Hoshino Resorts (Karuizawa office)?

Aoki-san: For me, the word "environment" sums it all up, but to break it down a bit, yes, it was an environment where I wanted to work, but it was also about the human relationships, and also, well, the location of Nagano was a perfect match. Also, it was a big factor that it was an environment where I thought "I want to work." When I came to Karuizawa and talked to the employees, I felt the closeness and the way the human relationships looked, and I wanted to provide services, and I studied a little bit of business management in my university seminar, and when I was offered the job, I found out that they were doing things like attractive development, and I thought, "Wow, I can do this," and I feel that the environment is very well prepared.

Tsumura-san: I think that in life, work accounts for about 3% and private life for about 7%. I want to work hard and have a fulfilling private life, so the environment in which I live is very important to me. I chose Karuizawa because it is in a city like this, but has beautiful mountains nearby.

Mori-san: When I decided that I wanted to live in Karuizawa, I wanted to live in Nagano Prefecture, I wanted to live in Karuizawa, and I wanted to work in the service industry, this was the place that matched for the time being. To be honest, I wasn't that interested in the hospitality industry, but I didn't go in fully prepared because the final interview was about two months away, so I applied and had to wait until then. However, during the interview, I felt that my words were coming out one after another and I had a lot to talk about, so I thought that this was proof that I wanted to come here, and more than anything, the interviewers were really listening to me, rather than focusing on how I would fit in with the company and Hoshino Resorts, which made me feel very comfortable, and I thought, "Ah, I want to work among these people," so even if I couldn't experience bridal work, if I could experience various things at Hoshino Resorts' Karuizawa office, that might be enough for me, and although both companies hired me as a bridal planner or something like that, I chose this company instead.

Sato-san: It's Hoshino Resorts, a facility that has been very kind to me since I was little. I used to go there every year for events like Candle Night, and I've also been a part of events like the Umbrella Sky at Harunire Terrace since I was little, so I thought I would be able to do what I want to do by working for a company like this, and it would be nice to work in a place that brings back memories. So I decided to work for Hoshino Resorts, which is a local company with customer service facilities.
